All activities at Stone Valley Environmental Management Facility, are designed to engage, educate, and inspire. We offer a diverse range of experiences, catering to varied interest groups and ages, allowing participants to connect with the environment in meaningful ways.

Design your own unique experience with us. Join a course, gaze at the stars, create or admire art made from waste, build and navigate an obstacle course, or take part in an Ecobrick workshop. Get hands-on by building with earth and upcycled materials, making compost, or attending inspiring lectures. You can also participate in or host conferences that promote learning and collaboration.

Star Gazing and Space Exploration

Experience the magic of Namibia's night sky with our star gazing sessions. Learn about the wonders of space and how our environment is connected to the cosmos through interactive information and guided star-gazing activities (coming soon).

Environmental Lectures

Engage in thought-provoking environmental lectures that cover a wide range of topics related to Ecology, environmental management and sustainable development. These sessions are led by experts and provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in sustainable development.

Short Courses

Participate in our short courses, designed for both experts and non-experts. Gain in-depth knowledge on topics such as environmental impact assessments, environmental management policy and legislation, and practical public participation techniques.

Short Tours on Site

Join our guided tours around the Stone Valley site to explore local ecology, conservation efforts, and the significance of environmental stewardship. These tours offer a closer look at the natural beauty and ongoing projects within the facility.

Environmental-Related Movies

Watch a selection of hand-picked films that showcase the beauty of nature, the challenges it faces, and the innovative solutions being developed to protect it. These movies aim to inspire and educate viewers about the importance of environmental preservation. (Being further developed)

Obstacle Courses with Environmental Themes

Enjoy fun and challenging obstacle courses that incorporate educational themes about the environment and self development. These experiences encourage participants to learn while they play, promoting teamwork and environmental awareness. (Being developed as we progress)

We offer tailored environmental education programs for all age groups.

Ecobrick Workshops

Learn how to mitigate the problems associated with single use plastic and create eco bricks for its safe disposal. Become an Eco Bricker and put a STOP to plastic pollution one brick at a time.

Gardening for Food Security

Discover the meaning of permaculture and experience the practice of compost making. Our aim is to use ecobricks to build raised garden beds that others can copy as a useful way to remove plastic from the environment.

Rethink Waste Art

Learn how to create and upcycle waste into inspiring art and building materials.

Building with Earth

Practical Earth building and fun clay workshops and experiences offered. BUILD WITH US.

Outdoor Cooking

Explore and experience sustainable cooking methods with a variety of solar ovens (coming soon).

Treasure Hunts

Take part in exciting environmental educational treasure hunts. These activities are both entertaining and informative, guiding participants to discover and learn about different aspects of the environment through a series of clues and challenges.
